Our Mission

The corporation is organized and operated by professional, educated African-American males who volunteer to improve the quality of life of people in the greater Pittsburgh community.

Our Vision

To be recognized as a leader throughout Western PA, and to uplift our community, especially our youth, by providing sustainable programs and services that positively impact their daily lives.

Iota Phi Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. The Iota Phi Foundation partners with the Iota Phi Chapter in many of its community initiatives. Additionally, we explore opportunities to collaborate with other noteworthy organizations to achieve our vision of meeting the needs of Pittsburgh's multicultural community.

In addition to individual contributions from members of the Foundation, revenue raised by the sponsorships and contributions from the Foundation has been the source of funding support for all activities.

New location planning...
For more than 25 years, 123 Meadow Street has been the headquarters and community center of the Iota Phi Foundation. It is bitter sweet that we share the Foundation has sold this property and is in the process of acquiring new property. Please stay tuned as we look to achieve greater impact through our service in a new facility.

TALENT HUNT

The Talent Hunt provides exposure, encouragement, and financial assistance to talented young people participating in the performing arts. Many have gone on to perform at the Apollo Theater, Radio City Music Hall, and other notable venues across the country.  The Talent Hunt program continues to be a mutually beneficial experience for our organization and the communities we serve.  As public funds dwindle in the support of the arts, we  will continue to search for new funding sources to support our gifted youth.
