Camping with the Ques

The Camping with the Ques program, hosted by the Iota Phi Foundation in collaboration with the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., provides an unforgettable outdoor experience for boys and girls in grades 6-8 across the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Designed to foster personal growth, leadership, and teamwork, this program immerses participants in outdoor adventures while equipping them with valuable life skills.

Key Features:

  • Outdoor Adventures – Participants engage in hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and team-building activities that promote physical wellness and camaraderie.

  • True Camping Experience – Students stay in tents at Bear Run Campground in one of its primitive camping sites, learning essential outdoor skills and self-sufficiency.

  • Campfire Fun – Evenings are spent watching movies, making s’mores, and sharing stories around the campfire, creating lasting memories.

  • Leadership Development – Interactive workshops and challenges help students build confidence and develop leadership skills to positively impact their communities.

  • Teamwork & Collaboration – Through group challenges and shared outdoor experiences, participants learn the value of teamwork, communication, and supporting one another.
